Star Wars Fans are Pitching Their Own Wild Movie Ideas for Lucasfilm

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker might have had a lot riding on its shoulders as the culmination of the entire Skywalker saga, however, the third and final entry in Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy has unwittingly become one of the most divisive entries in the Star Wars franchise.

Now, as the film continues to suffer from mixed-negative reviews from critics, Star Wars fans have taken it upon themselves to share their own pitches for Star Wars movies on Twitter.

Twitter user DoctorRagnarok started off the pitch fest when he/ she took to the social media platform to asks fans for their own ideas for a Star Wars movie.

"Lucasfilm and Kathleen Kennedy call you to pitch a Star Wars movie for them. It could be a standalone movie, a trilogy, anything you want. What's your pitch? Note: No remakes of *Insert SW movie here* Be creative," the Star Wars fan wrote on his post.

The tweet has gotten quite some traction on the site, ganing about 2.5 thousand likes and generating close to 5 thousand responses. Some Star Wars fans have had some pretty great responses to the post, pitching ideas for movies that feature the "adventures of a Wookie interpretitve dance troupe," the "whacky RomCom about Palpatine's search for the perfect woman to have his baby," and "a cross between Finding Nemo and Wall-E, where a Jawa is trying to find his son but there's no dialogue."

Some answers are pretty fun. Others are pretty serious as well, with fans asking for a story based on the Knights of the Old Republic and on other expanded universe lore.
