Star Wars Fans are Fighting Over How to Rank All the Films in the Franchise

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is sitting a few months away from its release, and now that the Skywalker saga is coming close to its end, fans have started to rank all of Lucasfilm's Star Wars movies online.

We don't really understand what started the trend, but Star Wars fans on Twitter have been putting out their list of favorite Star Wars movies. Everyone ranks the films differently, but for most fans, Star Wars:The Empire Strikes Back manages to find its way in the higher rankings while Star Wars: Attack of the Clones finds itself at the bottom of most people's list.

Star Wars:The Last Jedi also ranks pretty high on most of the lists that we've found on Twitter – something that might irk those who didn't really appreciate how the film subverted fan expectations and allegedly "misused" legacy characters like Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill).

Of course, The Last Jedi's polarizing nature also managed to get the film at the bottom of the list of a few other Star Wars fans.

Meanwhile, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has been doing pretty well with some fans ranking it as their number 1 Star Wars movie.

Of course, tastes differ, so we wouldn't be surprised if readers would have their own list in mind. Some might rank Star Wars films for their space battles, some might rank them for their land fights, some might rank them according to the quality of the narrative.

How would you rank Star Wars films? Feel free to share your lists in the comment section below.
