The latest episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch was a truly wild ride as it featured more of Crosshair. However, some fans are convinced that the former member of Clone Force 99 might be responsible for the death of someone connected to a character who just showed up in Devil's Deal.
SPOILERS AHEAD! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
In The Bad Batch Episode 11, we got to see the young Hera Syndulla in her home on Ryloth. Although it looks like Hera is enjoying an ideal life, she soon joins her uncle Gobi Glie as they retrieve new weapons delivered by the Bad Batch.
Unfortunately, things don't work out so well for them as they are tracked down by Crosshair for the Galactic Empire. Hera and Gobi are arrested for treason, prompting Hera's father Cham Syndulla, and his freedom fighters to go on a rescue mission.
Sadly, this is exactly what the Empire has been planning. Crosshair shoots Ryloth Senator Orn Free Taa and frames Cham for the attempted assassination. Cham, Gobi, and Cham's wife Eleni Syndulla are arrested while Hera manages to escape.
Interestingly, Eleni's appearance in The Bad Batch Episode 11 is just as intriguing for fans as Hera's. After all, the character is one of the casualties of the Empire forces' invasion of Ryloth. However, now people are convinced that it is Crosshair who assassinates Eleni after her arrest.
For now, it looks like Crosshair is well on his way to becoming a truly hated villain in the Star Wars Universe. Let's just hope that his former teammates will be able to fix everything before it's too late.
