Star Wars: Episode IX’s Kylo Ren Helmet Might Hold A Secret Twist

Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) might have broken his helmet in Star Wars: The Last Jedi but word around the block says that fans are going to get to see the helmet again once Star Wars: Episode IX comes around. Earlier this month, leaked reference photos from Episode IX made their way online, showing off new looks for various characters including Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams), Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Poe (Oscar Isaac). The leak also revealed the return of Kylo Ren's helmet, but now a new theory wonders whether the new Supreme Leader of the First Order is actually the one to wear it?

According to Inverse, there's a possibility that we might get to see more of the Knights of Ren in Episode IX, and along with the group a Kylo Ren imposter. Now that the estranged son of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Leia (the late Carrie Fisher) has finally made it to the top of the food chain in the first order, the site suspects that another member of the Knights of Ren will take his place as the group's lead.

Gluing Kylo's broken helmet together, this faux-Kylo Ren may want to dethrone the new Supreme Leader. Or at least impersonate him for most of the film. Matt Smith's role in Episode IX has been a pretty big secret so far, but the site suspects that the Doctor Who alum might take on this role as the Kylo Ren impersonator.
