Star Wars: Episode IX Poster May Have Revealed Major Rey Spoiler

One Star Wars newcomer may actually play a much bigger role in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker than we initially anticipated.

Keri Russell's Zori Bliss may have been marketed as a side character, however, marketing for The Rise of Skywalker may prove that the new Star Wars scoundrel may actually play an important role in the movie. Lucasfilm just recently released a brand new double poster for Episode IX and in it, we see the Rey (Daisy Ridley) and the Resistance facing off against Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and the First Order. The poster may not give away that much in terms of the film's plot, but it does seem to reveal an interesting new detail about Zorri Bliss – the scoundrel is placed along with the rest of the good guys.

This shouldn't really come as a surprise to Star Wars fans. Sure, we might have expected Zorri to work for the First Order, however, there have been a number of scoundrels who've sided with the rebels. Take Han Solo (Harrison Ford) for example.

Positioned right underneath Rey and right next to Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), fans on Reddit speculate that Bliss may actually play a role more important than an ally of the Resistance – rumor has it that Zorri may end up being Rey's mother. Not only does Keri Russell's features resemble that of everyone's favorite Jakku Orphan, but her work as a scoundrel and a thief sort of fits in with the lore that Rey was abandoned as a child on Jakku, watching her parents fly away on a ship leaving the planet.
