Star Wars Episode IX: Possible Leaked Details on the Plot, Rey’s Outfit, and More

With Star Wars Episode IX coming out December next year, it's very likely that we won't get any big reveal for the film before the year ends. Fans have just been hanging on to little leaks here and there, and thanks to Reddit, we may have an idea on the plot plus Rey's look for the film.

This was written on a post by u/hankosheppard who claims it comes from a friend who has a small job in the production:

So, here's what I've heard:

Rey's outfit won't have much of "Jedi Elements"... They're goin for the opposite. Her costume is described to me as a "Tatical" with neutral colors. The best way my friend could describe it to me is that looked like a mix between Rey's previous costumes, and the "Starkiller Hero" design Ralph McQuarrie did for the original Star Wars.

I also heard that the movie will follow 3 plot lines: Poe and Finn in a mission, second plot line would follow Rey and Rose goin in a 'adventure' of some sorts, and the last plotline would be from Kylo's perspective... Trying to keep the FO in line and fulfill his plans.

Once again, I can't confirm any of those things, they're all rumors I've heard from someone who has a small job in production, and once in a while gets to see something interesting and reports to me...

As the post suggests, we should just take this info with a grain of salt, but based on the scarcity of official news from the film, fans are just taking what they can get.

A lot of the rumored news does seem to fit though. We know based on The Force Awakens that the sequel trilogy is trying its best to bring back McQuarrie's original designs. Plus, set photos have confirmed that Poe will be sharing scenes with Finn in the film. I think it would be totally characteristic to have Rey share scenes with Rose this time and Kylo trying to find out how to run the First Order.

At best, we could be getting our first teaser for the movie during Star Wars Celebration next year. If we're going to get a first look at anything before the year ends, I would say it would be from Jon Favreau's Star Wars: The Mandalorian series. Then again, this is just speculation on my part.
