Star Wars: Episode IX Is Bringing Back Kylo Ren's Favorite Darth Vader Artifact

There's still a lot we don't know about Star Wars: Episode IX, including its actual title. However, new footage from the sequel may have confirmed that Kylo Ren still has his favorite Darth Vader artifact and will be bringing it back this December.

The Episode IX footage was recently unveiled during a Disney shareholders meeting and it featured a lot of interesting details about the film. According to one attendee who shared the details on Twitter, there is action and a bit of drama, thanks to Kylo Ren.

"We saw a blockade runner in an abandoned looking hangar. An explosion knocking Stormtroopers in a starship hangar bay. Kylo Ren in a white room looking at the Vader helmet. Rey, Finn, Poe in Falcon cockpit," they wrote.

The tiny detail about Kylo Ren is a bit of a surprise considering that the Darth Vader helmet was nowhere to be found in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Nevertheless, this could mean that the former Ben Solo isn't quite ready to let the past die if he's still holding on to Grandpa's helmet.

There have been speculations that Kylo Ren will be heading for Vader's castle in Mustafar in Episode IX. We're not sure what he will be doing there but it could be more than just to scavenge some Vader goodies. However, this is still just based on theory so we recommend taking it with a grain of salt.

The Star Wars: Episode IX title has not yet been revealed but it is possible that this could be announced at the upcoming Star Wars Celebration. In the meantime, the film is scheduled for release on December 20.
