The image of Monaghan's character was one of the several The Rise of Skywalker standees that was unveiled on Friday. If you missed it, the Lord of the Rings star himself made sure you could get a closer look by sharing the picture on his official Instagram page. Take a look at his post below.

Of course, we still don't know the name of the character. However, it looks like his allegiance is firm with the Resistance and he's ready to take action if anyone tries to question that. Let's just hope we'll get more information about Monaghan's character in the near future.

There have long been speculations that Monaghan's character would be part of the Resistance and that he could play a large role in taking down one of the major players of the First Order. One theory suggested that his character manages to capture General Armitage Hux and takes him as a prisoner of the Resistance. However, it is important to point out that this has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is scheduled for release on December 20.
