Star Wars: Did Jon Favreau’s Chef Show Confirm Bill Burr for The Mandalorian?

Comedian Bill Burr has been open about his disinterest in Star Wars, but everyone was surprised when it looked like he was playing a mercenary in the clips of Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian that were leaked from Star Wars Celebration 2019. Nothing official has been said about Burr's involvement, but it looks like we got our confirmation with Favreau's The Chef Show on Netflix.

Check out the trailer:

As you can see, the show is chock-full of guest stars that Favreau has been working on movies with, specifically MCU stars like Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), and Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts). With Burr not having any announced projects with Favreau, I think it's safe to say that his episode on The Chef Show was shot while he was working on The Mandalorian with Favreau.

While the main conflict of Star Wars has always been about the Empire and the Rebels, my favorite faction has always been the criminal underbelly that only cares about themselves. With Burr's fantastic work in Breaking Bad, I hope his character ends up memorable in The Mandalorian. Best we know is that he seems to be a mercenary working for some crew, and he specializes in dual wielding pistols with a third one being shot from a rig on his back.

Fingers crossed they bring him back for a Solo sequel, should Disney greenlight it.

For now, we wait for The Mandalorian which debuts with Disney+ on Nov. 12.
