Star Wars: Danny Trejo Shares Epic Rancor Photo After The Book of Boba Fett Cameo

One of the best things about the latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett was the Rancor that The Twins presented to the new Daimyo. Even better still was that the beast was handled by none other than Danny Trejo. Now the Machete star has shared an awesome behind-the-scenes look at the memorable scene featuring the Star Wars creature and the two men who doted on it!

In The Book of Boba Fett Episode 3, The Twins unsuccessfully tried to have the new Daimyo killed by Black Krrsantan. To prove that they will no longer return to Tatooine, the Hutts gave Fett a Rancor that was then left in the care of a beastmaster played by Danny Trejo. It was a cool cameo that also helped people learn more about the creature and Trejo was more than happy to share a photo from the episode.

In Chapter Three: The Streets of Mos Espa, Fett was concerned that the Rancor wasn't very active. The beastmaster revealed that the creature was depressed then shared some unexpected details about them. He confirmed that Rancors are emotionally complex animals who bond with their handlers and owners. Despite their terrifying appearance and skill in fighting, the creatures thrive on the love and care they are given.

It might seem like a minor detail but it matters considering that the first Rancor that Star Wars fans saw was killed by Luke Skywalker, causing the beastmaster to mourn for the creature. Although it was initially seen as a comical scene, it proved that the handler bonded with the Rancor and vice versa. In addition to that, it confirms that not all monsters are as simple as we think.

The latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett is now streaming on Disney+. Episode 4 will premiere on the streaming service on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
