There is little doubt that Daisy Ridley became a household name after being cast in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and its two sequels. With that in mind, the Murder on the Orient Express star would be one person who knows what it's like to be a part of the franchise and guide any new actor who will be joining the Star Wars Universe. Not surprisingly, Ridley actually has some awesome advice for the future female stars of the next Star Wars projects.
Daisy Ridley recently spoke to Variety to promote her latest project Sometimes I Think About Dying but she also took time to discuss the future of Star Wars. When asked if she has any advice for the new actors who will headline the upcoming projects, Ridley pointed out that it is important to stay positive.
"The world is a crazy place. It’s important to tune out the stuff. Not just with Star Wars, but with everything, you try and be in the moment and enjoy what it is because life moves quickly," she said. Ridley then cited the star of The Acolyte as someone who will be able to handle all the attention.
"Amandla Stenberg can handle herself. She’s been working for a long time. I sat next to someone at the [Black Panther:] Wakanda Forever premiere, an executive, and they said [The Acolyte] is amazing," she said.
Ridley continued, "Everyone knows how things are and how they can be. We’re all living in that, with people saying more than they need to and commenting more than they need to. It’s so individual. Find the good in it all and enjoy it."
It's great to know that Daisy Ridley has stayed positive throughout the time she was working on Star Wars. Although it is unclear if her character Rey will be revisited in the future, we're looking forward to meeting strong female characters like her in the new Star Wars projects.
