Star Wars: Clone Wars Merchandise Suggests Darth Vader’s Appearance

Knowing that Star Wars: The Clone Wars is set in a time between Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, it's hard to imagine Darth Vader making his way to the popular Star Wars animated series.

However, new merchandise for the final season of The Clone Wars suggests that the iconic Star Wars villain may very well make an appearance during the finale of the series.

According to a report by Screen Rant,Clone Wars Darth Vader merchandise being sold by BoxLunch has some fans speculating that the Vader may very well make an appearance in the series. There have been rumors going around that Darth Vader might make an appearance during a major battle sequence in the series finale of The Clone Wars. Perhaps the episode will cut off to a sequence after the Revenge of the Sith, one where Ahsoka meets the final transformation of her master, Anakin Skywalker.

This won't be the first time that fans get to see Vader in The Clone Wars though. Anakin Skywalker played a major role in the Mortis arc of the series, and fans were given a quick glimpse of the Jedi's future role as Vader.

Of course, if the rumors are true and Vader does appear in the series finale of The Clone Wars, this may very well be the first and only time that the villain appears flesh and blood in the series.

Let's wait and see whether Vader really does make it into The Clone Wars.
