Star Wars: Chewbacca Actor Joonas Suotamo Reacts to The Mandalorian's Hilarious Wookiee Reference

There's probably nothing that fans would complain about when it comes to the first season of The Mandalorian (other from the fact that it's over). However, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor Joonas Suotamo has found something to be concerned about after watching the Disney+ series.

Suotamo, who plays Chewbacca in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, took to Twitter to point out that he wasn't happy about a particular line in The Mandalorian. Take a look at his tweet below.

"I loved #TheMandalorian 's first season, but I dont know if I should be offended by this line," Suotamo wrote before adding a screenshot of a Jawa. But he's clearly taking it in stride. "Seriously though, it was incredibly fun to watch," he concluded.

In the second episode of The Mandalorian, Mando (we didn't know his name was Din Djarin back then) had to deal with Jawas who had taken apart his ship. At one point, one of the Jawas had enough of Mando's sad attempt at speaking their language and simply said, "You speak terrible Jawa. You sound like a Wookiee."

It's a hilarious insult but not something that Suotamo (or any other Wookiee) should really take seriously. Either way, we're hoping that the second season of The Mandalorian will feature more of these awesome one-liners.

The first season of The Mandalorian is currently streaming on Disney+.
