Star Wars Celebration 2019 Announces New Guests Together With Skywalker Saga Poster

Star Wars fans have a lot to look forward to the Star Wars Celebration this year, and now that the annual festival is finally taking shape, it looks like we finally have the event's list of extended lineup guests and a cool piece of poster art to add hype to the event.

The official poster art for the 2019 Star Wars Celebration was just put up on StarWars.com, bringing together the heroes and villains of all three Star Wars trilogies, the originals, prequels, and sequels. On the left side of the poster, we get to see Luke and Leia, Han Solo, Chewie, Lando, Finn, Obi-Wan, Amidala, Yoda, R2-D2 and of course, Rey. On the left side, we get to see Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Count Dooku, Phasma, Boba Fett, Maul, General Grievous, TR8-TOR, and Kylo Ren.

The poster is a great way to celebrate the entire Skywalker Saga – a fitting image considering that Lucasfilm's sequel trilogy is coming to a close this year with the release of the untitled film, Star Wars: Episode IX.

Meanwhile, in other Star Wars news, Lucasfilm has also announced some of the extended guests that it's going to bring to this year's Star Wars Celebration and that includes Joonas Suotamo, the actor who plays Chewie in the new Star Wars films like Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and of course, Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Sam Witwer, the voice of Darth Maul, is also going to take his place alongside Suotamo during the convention. For those who aren't familiar with the voice actor, Witwer gave life to Maul in The Clone Wars and in Star Wars Rebels.

Other guests included in the line-up include Snap Wexley actor Greg Grunberg, puppeteer Dave Chapman, voice actor Gregg Proops, Paul Kasey, and Ian McElhinney.

This year's Star Wars Celebration is set for April 11 to April 15 in Chicago.
