Star Wars: Cassian Andor Series Could Introduce Us to Cassian's Sister

Though Cassian Andor may have died in the Battle of Scarif, he's set to return in his own prequel series for Disney+. We don't have that much details on the show yet, but some casting announcements have revealed that we could be meeting Cassian's sister.

According to DiscussingFilm, the series is looking to cast a 9-year-old girl to play the sister of Cassian Andor. What's more, they're also looking for two different kids to play Andor at age 9 and 13. We don't have any details on Cassian's sibling, but if they were both the same age, I'm guessing the two could have been twins, which would make it more tragic when Cassian loses his sister in the show (if I'm guessing right).

In Rogue One, Cassian had told Jyn Erso that she wasn't the only one who lost somebody, and it's very likely that he could be talking about the loss of his sister. Since he says he's been part of the ‘fight' since he was 6, maybe this means that his sister was older (since she's supposed to be 9) when she died? Then again, it's possible they both were working for the Rebels into their adulthood, and maybe he just lost his sister a short while before the events of Rogue One.

Besides Cassian, we have Alan Tudyk returning as K-2SO. We don't know how long K-2 will be on the show, but since Mandalorian is kind of sparing when it comes to CG, then maybe he could only be in one episode. I would love it if he got dismantled and Cassian was just carrying him on his back like Chewbacca did with 3PO in Empire Strikes Back.

No release date has been set for the Cassian Andor series, but you can check out The Mandalorian now on Disney+.
