Star Wars Battlefront II's Scarif Update Moved to Mid-April

With everyone stuck in quarantine, there's been more attention going for video games. A lot of fans were excited about the Scarif update coming to Star Wars Battlefront II, but unfortunately, we'll have to wait until April.

This comes from community manager Ben Walke:

As every other office has gone, the development team at DICE has been forced to adapt to a home office environment, and naturally, this leads to the delay in the update. If anything, a half month delay is pretty doable, seeing that almost everything else got delayed by months; Fast 9 even got a year off.

If it's any consolation, we're finally getting some new appearances for heroes and villains. We don't know exactly what, but seeing as the game is celebrating the Age of Rebellion, I can imagine that it will have something to do with that era. I know a lot of people have been wanting a damaged Vader, but it would also be cool to get Chewbacca with C-3PO on his back or maybe Luke's snowspeeder pilot outfit. And I know it's from the Sequel Trilogy, but it would be cool to get Palpatine's look from The Rise of Skywalker, what with the red cloak and glowing eyes.

For now, we don't have a solid release date on the Scarif update, but I guess it's best to be patient. The pandemic is slowing everybody down, and I'm sure everyone can't wait for things to get back to normal.
