Star Wars Battlefront II’s Latest Update Actually Has a Matt the Radar Technician Easter Egg

Fans were bummed out when DICE has announced that the Scarif update would be the last for Star Wars Battlefront II, but the devs are making sure they bow out with a bang. Besides much awaited skins for Maul and Palpatine, there's actually an easter egg added alluding to Kylo's alter ego, Matt the Radar Technician.

Check it out:

If you want to check it out yourself, the easter egg can be located in the cafeteria of the First Order capital ship. You'll find an ironing droid there working on what is clearly Matt's radar technician outfit.

Though the outfit does come from a Saturday Night Live skit, it had actually been made canon thanks to Star Wars Rebels. While it is a bummer that the devs didn't make it an actual skin for Kylo, I guess this easter egg is a nice enough touch.

For now, fans think the sudden announcement to abandon Battlefront II is kind of ill-conceived. The game had just recently made a huge comeback at the start of the year, and there were still a lot of cosmetics that fans never got from the game. While there will still be some in-game events, we shouldn't expect new maps, characters, or skins to arrive for the game.

Then again, with all this buzz, maybe EA will decide to change their minds? Just wishful thinking here.
