Star Wars Battlefront II: Official Community Update for Dooku Teases Anakin Skywalker

"Traitors bring out the worst in me."

Due to some hold-ups in approvals, the Dooku expansion for Star Wars Battlefront II had dropped before the official Community Update video. Now the video is up, and the end gives us a small teaser for next month's new hero—Anakin Skywalker.

Just like they did with the likes of Obi-Wan, Dooku, and Grievous, the developers at DICE have brought Clone Wars voiceover actor Matt Lanter to reprise the role of Anakin. While I personally would have loved to have Hayden Christensen provide the voice, a lot of Star Wars fans have also grown to prefer Lanter as the voice of Anakin over the years.

Though his arrival may have been a bit iffy, a lot of people are loving this new arrival of Count Dooku. He's made to be the best lightsaber duelist in the game, and he makes for some dangerous one on one. I guess if he would have a weakness, it would be that he's not too good when he gets surrounded by the enemy team. Good thing he also has three consecutive dodges instead of the usual two.

Besides Dooku, Geonosis has also been added to a bunch of other game modes including Strike, Heroes v Villains, and Arcade. Too bad we don't get the Coruscant guard skins with the latest update. It's expected to be included in the next hotfix which hopefully comes next week.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PC, ad PS4.
