DICE may be taking their time when it comes to new skins for Star Wars Battlefront II, but the game does have a fun mod community, and this new post from u/Dulana57 on Reddit gives us a look at Toy Story's Woody as a playable character.

Check it out:

It basically gives Han Solo a skin of Woody, and as you can see, it looks fantastic in the game. The mods actually used the model of Woody from Kingdom Hearts III. Now everyone is also requesting that hey do the same thing with Boba Fett and give him a Buzz Lightyear skin.

Since this is just a work-in-progress, we should expect it to be more polished soon. I'd love for Woody to have his toy lines like "There's a snake in my boot," or "Reach for the stars," but maybe it would be fun to have him say in-movie lines as well. So far I think it would be cool if he had an emote where he says, "So play nice," from the end of the first Toy Story.

For now, the game is gearing up for an update this Thursday which will bring the Sequel Era to Capital Supremacy. Besides the new Capital Shop interiors, we're also going to be getting some new playable heroes in the form of BB-8 and BB-9E. We don't know how they play yet, but hopefully we get the full community transmission on Wednesday.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
