Star Wars Battlefront II Geonosis: Upcoming Vehicles and Their Abilities

While there was a severe lack of marketing when it came to Grievous' release last month, it seems that DICE is making up for it with the month of November. A lot of new things are expected to drop in Star Wars Battlefront II for the month of November, and we have a detailed list of the new vehicles and their abilities.

AT-TE (Clone Army)

The ancestor of the AT-AT, this walker is teased to be one of the biggest vehicles ever to come to the game. It has laser cannons and a mass driver cannon and also has a Tactical Support ability which refreshes abilities of nearby clones and reveals droids.

It does have a weak spot underneath it, so clones will want to eliminate all droids that attempt to hit it on the belly.

BARC Speeder (Clone Army)

This is a standard speeder that costs 150 battle points to use. It has a motion scan which reveals all nearby enemies as well as a Heat Sink and Laser Barrage.

STAP (Separatists)

The speeder equivalent for the droids, it has the same abilities as the BARC speeder as well as the same amount of BP cost to operate.

While we're only given a look at the vehicles, the cherry on the Geonosis pie is the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi as a playable hero. We've already been getting a lot of teases of him online, but nothing solid as of now. So far, we know nothing about his skill set, but it's said that he is on the more defensive side of things. Hopefully, we get a full-on teaser released at some point next week.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PC, and PS4. The Geonosis update comes out on Nov. 28.
