Star Wars Battlefront II: First Look at the Clone Commando in Action

Republic Commando remains to be a fan favorite game among Star Wars fans, and Battlefront II is going to be bringing in the special commando units next month with a big update. What's cool is, we now have some footage of the commando in-game.

This comes from BattlefrontUpdates from Youtube:

Like the droideka, the Clone Commando is considered to be an expansion of the Enforcer unit, so it doesn't really need any more special cards to boost its stats. The way it looks, the power-ups are pretty standard, but it kind of gives the commando some Hero skills. Save for the grenade cannon, the repulsor blast could very well be an equivalent of a Force push, and the battle focus ability allows the health of the Commando to replenish at it deals damage.

We don't have a specific release date for this guy yet, but he's expected to come with the Felucia update which is said to be aiming for a Sept. 25 drop.

Personally, I'm kind of done with the Clone Wars updates at this point, and I can't wait for the game to add more material from the OT and ST trilogies. The good news is, Battlefront II is going to give us an update based on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and besides a new map, we should also be expecting new reinforcements. While I'm expecting a playable Sith Trooper, I kind of want to play as a Knight of Ren or maybe a Praetorian Guard from The Last Jedi. I don't even know what they could bring in for the Resistance side.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
