Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Will Reportedly Have 2 Playable Modes at E3 2017

In just a few days, gamers can get a chance to sample a few of the upcoming games at the E3 2017. If there's one game that fans of the Star Wars franchise are looking forward to, it would have to be Star Wars: Battlefront 2.

Considering the holiday release date for the title, it's already expected that the game should be playable at the event. But a new leak via Reddit has hinted that the game's experience may be capped to only two modes for the event.

"Basically there will be two modes, one for single player where we will play as Iden battling against rebel scums. She receives a highly secret and important message from a messenger of the Emperor and… This will be only a demo mission… Second mode will be for MP and it will be on Naboooo. There will be a replacement for the Walker with MTT. The mission comes in more phases."

The leak also stated that players will get to sample the gameplay as heroes, though only two per side would be playable. It also hints that a possible new type of combat roll will be showcased, as well as a new type of shield.

More than the info, the source also gave a screenshot image of the game. For now, best to take this source with a grain of salt, since neither DICE nor EA have confirmed the modes that will be playable at E3 2017.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will be available on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime this fall.
