Star Wars: Amazing Detail About Droids and Clones that Everyone Missed

While the Star Wars prequels get a lot of bashing, we still find interesting things about the films everyday. The clones and the droids were a big part of the trilogy, but there's this neat detail that managed to get over everyone's heads—and it was staring everyone right in the face.

We know that the droids were made by Geonosians and the clones by the Kaminoans, but I bet not everyone noticed that each soldier actually resembled their maker.

You can see that the droids elongated head looks pretty much like a standard Geonosian, and the clones have fins on their heads like the Kaminoans; plus the white armor kind of resembles the white skin of the Kaminoans along with their mouths which are also in a "frown" when it's in resting position.

While clones and droids are a thing of the past in the lore, there may seem to be some kind of return planned for them in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Rumors suggest that the film will go to this abandoned droid factory and the classic battle droids will appear. As for clones, this is just my own theory, but I have a feeling that the red troopers in the leaked footage are a clone army. Kylo did suggest using them in The Force Awakens and with him as supreme leader, who's to say he didn't get his own army of clones made?

For now, we're all just left speculating until Lucasfilm drops the full trailer. Catch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in theaters Dec. 20.
