Following the reveal of the return of Anakin Skywalker and the World Between Worlds in the final moments of the recent fourth episode of Ahsoka, fans are already looking forward to the release of the next episode.

We can pretty much guess at this point that the upcoming fifth episode will be its biggest one yet since it will presumably explore the master-apprentice relationship of Anakin and Ahsoka after all these years and there is no doubt that it will be an event for long-time fans of the franchise.

As we're now six days before its release, fans are already theorizing online about what they can expect from the episode and some are even planning to do a watch party due to its significance.

Now, it looks like the release of the upcoming episode will be a much bigger event as fans will now be able to see it on the big screen.

Disney and Lucasfilm have announced on the official Star Wars social media accounts that the upcoming fifth episode of Ahsoka will be released in 10 theaters across the United States on Tuesday next week.

The episode will be shown in cinemas an hour before it becomes available on Disney+. Fans can now RSVP for the screenings that are available near them.

Empire Magazine is also set to host a theatrical screening of the episode in a yet undisclosed movie theater in London on the same day where it will be shown around four hours before its release on Disney+.

It will mark the franchise's return to the big screen since 2019 when the last sequel trilogy film The Rise of Skywalker was released during that year's holiday season.

This is certainly exciting news for fans who are looking forward to seeing the episode as they can now experience it on the big screen which is arguably the best way to watch an epic science-fiction story like this.

Given that the screenings are limited and it is a one-time viewing, fans who want to see it in the available theaters should be able to secure their tickets as soon as possible as it is expected to be sold out due to the high anticipation of the episode.

While it is unknown yet if it is the only episode this season that will receive the treatment, it is an indication that what we're about to see on the series next week is going to be special and it looks like Lucasfilm already gauged beforehand that the excitement on the episode is going to skyrocket.

New episodes of Ahsoka premiere every Tuesday night on Disney+.
