Ahmed Best recently shared his idea for a John Wick-inspired story for a potential Kelleran Beq movie.

The actor famously made his major comeback in the Star Wars franchise when he surprisingly made a guest appearance as Jedi Master Kelleran Beq during the third season of The Mandalorian.

It was revealed that it was his character who saved Grogu during Order 66. Since then, fans have expressed interest in seeing more of him as the Jedi Master in future Star Wars projects.

Ahmed Best Suggests 'Jedi John Wick' Idea for Kelleran Beq Movie

In a recent interview, Best opened up about the potential return of Kelleran Beq in a future Star Wars project following his appearance in The Mandalorian.

He suggested an idea inspired by the John Wick films for a Kelleran Beq movie with intense lightsaber action sequences.

"I keep putting this out there. I want to do a Jedi John Wick as Kelleran Beq. And I don't even need to say any words. I just want to do two hours of lightsabers and people in the way," the actor said.

"I really want to do something like that because the fight that I did for Mandalorian is 1/10th of 1% of what I could do. And there's so much more."

Best also explained that the style of action for the potential Kelleran Beq movie would be inspired by Filipino martial arts.

"I was just talking about this, the style that influences Kelleran Beq is from Filipino martial arts, and nobody really knows very much how deep those arts are," he said.

"Most of the Jedi are Japanese Samurai influenced, but the Filipinos beat the Samurai and they beat the Spanish. The way they move, the style that they move, and the weapons that they use are revolutionary."

The actor continued, "It's so much so that a lot of what Bruce Lee does in Jeet Kune Do is influenced by Filipino martial arts. So I really want that to be highlighted through some kind of Jedi story."

This could be an intriguing idea for some fans who might want to see more of Kelleran Beq in action and we've seen in his Mandalorian appearance that Best is capable of doing cool action scenes.

So far, Lucasfilm has not set any plans for Kelleran Beq's return, but Best is set to voice Darth Jar Jar Binks in the upcoming special LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy.
