Star Wars Actress Wants A Live-Action Sabine Wren Spinoff Movie

Sabine Wren was undoubtedly one of the most interesting characters in Star Wars Rebels. But is it possible that the member of the Ghost crew will get her own live-action spin-off movie? Tiya Sircar certainly hopes so.

Sircar has been interacting with fans on her official Twitter account. The Star Wars Rebels voice actress was recently asked if she would be against reprising her role as the Mandalorian warrior anytime in the future. Not surprisingly, Sircar had an interesting response. Take a look at her tweet below.

"Opposed?! On the contrary, I am seriously trying to will the Universe to allow a live-action Sabine story to be told and for me to be the one to get to tell it (as Sabine, of course)," Sircar wrote, adding the hashtag #fingersandtoescrossed.

It certainly would be interesting to see Sircar finally take on the role of Sabine on a physical level. However, the star of The Good Place later clarified her tweet, saying she isn't "*actively* gunning for a role as live-action Sabine."

"It's just a dream of mine to reprise this role I love so much. And if it were in a live-action capacity, well I'd be all for it! But que sera sera, ya know?" Sircar wrote.

Although it's still uncertain whether Sircar will eventually reprise her role, there have been speculations that Sabine will be a part of a completely different live-action project. Some fans believe that they have spotted Sabine's helmet on the set of Jon Favreau's Disney+ series The Mandalorian. However, the character's possible appearance in the show has not yet been confirmed so we would recommend taking this with a grain of salt.

The Mandalorian is expected to air on Disney+ in 2019.
