Daisy Ridley is no longer a stranger to the Hollywood spotlight and if you've been following her career over the last five years, her involvement in Star Wars alone made her one of the most talked-about stars in Hollywood. It also made her one of the most controversial actors in entertainment thanks to the billion-dollar franchise. As for her personal life, the 29-year-old British actress has managed to live a private life despite her success and A-list status.
This week though, the lead star of Disney's divisive Star Wars sequel trilogy was a hot trending topic on Twitter after a wild rumor began making the rounds all over the internet. According to the said rumor, Ridley was once a reckless driver back in her teens and she was even allegedly responsible for running over someone when she was just 16 years old.
However, it's hard to buy into the said rumors because first of all, there are no published articles on the internet from credible sources that back up the claims. Secondly, Ridley has never spoken about the incident in her interviews which makes it all the more bizarre. As it stands, we still don't know how this crazy rumor started but it's taking social media by storm. As soon as we get substantial information about the alleged incident, we'll make sure to do a follow-up report about this but personally, I don't believe any of it. Meanwhile, Ridley's Star Wars journey seemingly came to a close after The Rise of Skywalker but with rumors of Lucasfilm developing Episode X, there's actually a good chance that we'll see Rey continue her adventures now that she's a "Skywalker" herself.
