A lot of mystery surrounds the fate of the James Bond franchise now that Daniel Craig is gearing up for his grand exit as the legendary Agent 007. While we still don't know who his successor will be, quite a few candidates have popped up over the last couple of months, and it includes a who's who of Hollywood's biggest and brightest. Names like Henry Cavill and Idris Elba have been rumored to be in the running for the coveted action role but just recently, Star Wars' John Boyega has been added to the mix, thanks to Black Panther actress Letitia Wright who previously said that she'd love to see Boyega as the new Agent 007.

Boyega seems to be interested in getting the part and understandably so but according to him, he'd only agree to take on the project if director Steve McQueen helms the next James Bond film. Now, the idea of Boyega ditching his Resistance jacket in exchange for a tuxedo has been well-received by fans and this new fan image depicts him as the new Agent 007 in a future Bond series. I gotta say, he looks pretty darn convincing. Check out the awesome image created by artist @apexform here:

Considering the fact that the studio behind the iconic action film franchise is reportedly interested in casting a black actor to lead the next series of Bond movies, I think Boyega would definitely be the perfect casting choice. You gotta admit, his years of experience in the Star Wars Universe is a plus factor. Of course, nothing has been officially confirmed and No Time To Die isn't even out yet so for now, let's just focus on Daniel Craig's historic final outing as James Bond.

No Time To Die is slated for release on April 2, 2021.
