It has already been revealed that Robert Picardo is going to reprise his role as the Doctor in Star Trek: Picard Season 2. However, it looks like the Star Trek: Voyager actor is too excited about his return in the new series. Picardo has just revealed that he has reunited with co-star Jeri Ryan at Star Trek The Cruise.
Picardo shared the awesome photo on his official Twitter account. Check it out below.
"@startrekcruise 2020: Reunited and It Fees So Good... @JeriLRyan @startrek," Picardo wrote before adding the hashtag #startrekpicard.
We're loving this reunion but don't expect to see the Doctor showing up in any of the upcoming episodes of Picard just yet. Picardo has been confirmed for the second season of the series so it may still be a long wait for any possible interactions with Jean-Luc Picard or Seven of Nine.
Meanwhile, it looks like Seven of Nine might be in a lot of trouble in the next episode of Picard. The preview for Broken Pieces has confirmed that Seven will still be stuck on the Borg Cube with Elnor and may need to face off against the Romulans. Interestingly, the teaser also hinted at Seven being assimilated yet again.
If you can't wait to see the Doctor again, you can always visit the Emergency Medical Holographic Program at Star Trek The Cruise. The Doctor will be there with some interesting things to say about your possible illness.
Star Trek: Picard airs on CBS All Access every Thursdays.
