Star Trek: Picard’s Hugh Shares Behind-The-Scenes Video From Set

CBS All Access might be trying its best to keep the secrets of Star Trek: Picard under wraps, however, it seems like the cast has been sharing new photos and videos online.

One of the latest leaks comes from Star Trek: The Next Generation guest star Jonathan Del Arco. The actor who played the Borg drone Hugh in The Next Generation episodes "I, Borg" and "Descent" is set to return in Picard.

Though we aren't quite sure what kind of role Hugh is going to play in the new Star Trek series, Del Arco went ahead and decided to post a behind-the-scenes video of himself on the set of Picard to help celebrate the anniversary of The Next Generation.

You've all been asking for it but I CAN'T show you Hugh's new look HOWEVER since it's TNG's Birthday here's what I had to go through to get there…" Del Arco wrote in his tweet.

In the timelapse video, fans get to see Picard's special effects team creating a plaster mold of the actor's head. The video has lead fans to speculate about Hugh's fate in the series. The new head cast which covers his left eye has led some to believe that the character may end up being more Borg than human in Picard – though Del Arco has tried his best to shoo away fan theories by saying that the head cast made for him is a standard procedure.

We can't help but wonder what Hugh is going to do in Picard.

Picard premieres on CBS All Access sometime in 2020.
