It's been two years since the first season of Picard aired so it's great that we finally have the release date for the second season. Of course, we had a longer wait than usual due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was also around two years ago when Strange New Worlds was officially announced and it's also great that it finally has a release date which will come around three years after Pike, Spock, and Number One made their appearances in the second season of Discovery.

If you also look at the schedule, it looks like we will be getting new Star Trek content every week from now until July 7 at the latest. There's also the third season of Lower Decks and the second half of the first season of Prodigy which is coming later this year.
