The new trailer for Star Trek: Discovery Season 4 is finally here and it reveals more of what we will look forward to later this November. Not surprisingly, it looks like the Discovery crew will be facing another major threat that could destroy the entire galaxy.
The Discovery Season 4 trailer was just unveiled at the show's New York Comic Con panel at the Javits Center. The teaser was introduced by Sonequa Martin-Green who was in attendance at the event. Watch the trailer below.
The trailer catches us up with the Discovery crew and it reveals that Michael is still adjusting to her new position as Captain. However, it's not an easy job and it's made even more difficult by the fact that they are dealing with a mysterious anomaly that is threatening to destroy the entire galaxy.
The trailer also confirms the return of most of the Discovery crew including Doug Jones' Saru, Anthony Rapp's Paul Stamets, and Tig Notaro's Jett Reno. Most of the cast from the third season are also returning in Season 4.
Paramount+ has also shared a new poster for the fourth season.
The synopsis for Star Trek: Discovery Season 4 reads as follows:
"Season four of Star Trek: Discovery finds Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery facing a threat unlike any they've ever encountered. With Federation and non-Federation worlds alike feeling the impact, they must confront the unknown and work together to ensure a hopeful future for all."
Star Trek: Discovery Season 4 will premiere on Paramount+ on November 18, 2021.
