Marvel Comic Icon Stan Lee Opens Up About The Elder Abuse Allegations Made Against His Daughter

Earlier this year, allegations were made against Stan Lee's daughter with reports saying that J.C., together with former publicist Jerry Olivarez and former business manager Keya Morgan, had tried to take advantage of the comic book legend in his old age.

Now, Lee has decided to break the silence. Speaking in an interview with The Daily Beast to talk about his future projects, the Marvel comic book icon was asked to address the allegations that he had been a victim of elder abuse by the hand of his very own daughter.

"I wish that everyone would be as abusive to me as JC," Lee joked during the interview.

Changing his tone, the comic book writer then proceeded to describe his daughter as a "wonderful" girl, saying that while he and J.C. have had "occasional spats" before, there's really nothing substantial in the allegations against her.

Kirk Schenck, J.C.'s lawyer, was also asked to describe the relationship with father and daughter, and apparently, Lee and his child have a "Kennedyesque" bond. Schenck even goes as far as to praise J.C. describing the woman as "the avenger...the person who protects that man."

While J.C. still denies physically hurting her father, she does admit that she has raised her voice at Lee at times. However, she blames these allegations of physical abuse on "horrible people" who simply want to "divide and conquer."

With such a heavy topic, the brighter side of the interview with Lee is the moment where the comic book legend gets to talk about his favorite topic: the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Naming Spider-Man as his favorite comic book movie adaptation, Lee went on commenting about the call for diversity in media.
