Everyone is going crazy over Squid Game, and there is no one to blame since the series has an exciting storyline that viewers get hooked on easily. The Netflix show caught the hearts of many that fans are already asking for Season 2.

The effective marketing and promotional plan Netflix prepared for Squid Game is also one of the primary reasons it became a huge hit. The American online streaming giant was promoted in many different ways.

Recently, Netflix's office in France has created a Squid Game pop-up store where people can experience the games, including the Dalgona Game and the Ddakji games. Fans from all over the country have flocked to try it out.

Squid GamePop-Up Store Opened In France

On October 2, Netflix unveiled a pop-up store at Rue d'Alexandrie in Paris, France. The store, which they called Squid Game Experience Center, lets visitors experience the games played in the show.

Reports have it that some visitors spent a total of two hours lining up just to get inside the Squid Game pop-up store. Several snaps and videos of the pop-up store have been uploaded on social media, and it really looks super enticing, from the guards to the interiors.

There was also an experience center erected in Itaewon, South Korea. However, this was closed down immediately due to strict COVID-19 prevention measures.

Squid Game Doll Replica Installed In The Philippines

Before the Squid Game pop-up stores in South Korea and France opened, a replica of the famous Animatronic Doll featured in the show in the Philippines also garnered so much attention. The gigantic doll, shown during the "Red Light, Green Light" game, became an instant attraction when installed in Robinsons Galleria in Quezon City.

This was the first of the many physical promotions Netlix has done for Squid Game.
