The 49-year-old actor was asked about the director’s plans for Squid Game 2, he politely answered that they never spoke about the upcoming sequel after being confirmed that he will reprise his role as Seung Gi Hoon.

“Director Hwang Dong-hyuk even came to the afterparty of Hunt VIP Premiere, but I didn’t ask him anything. After knowing that I would star in the work, I didn’t ask anything,” he said, as obtained by KBizoom.

As for his appearance in the forthcoming season 2, Lee Jung Hae expressed his excitement and said that he is looking forward to “see Seung Gi Hoon’s feelings from the first scene to the end.”

In addition, he also pointed out how the first impression of a character is very important.
