Square Enix Reveals Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Mode Details & Screenshots


There's going to be a multiplayer mode for Final Fantasy XV called Comrades, and Square Enix has revealed the first details for it, and also announced a beta test running from August 3-8.

In Comrades, players will be able to create their own custom character, then join up to three other players to complete multiplayer quests. You can create multiple characters, developed by finishing quests, and cusomized with new items and clothing at the game's Outposts.

With all new moves, players will also be able to use a series of various weapons such as crossbows, katanas, shuriken, and shields. At the later date, the final version of the mode will unlock the game's main characters, Noctics, Ignis, Prompto, and Gladio.

Only players who own the Final Fantasy XV Season Pass and have a Playstation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription will have access to The Comrades 'closed online test'.
