Here's What Happened Before Spy x Family Episode 20
The episode opened with Director Glooman and his problem with his company. It was revealed that the company will seemingly fall and he doesn’t know how to explain it to his son.
The story then shifted to Eden Academy, where Becky and Anya talked about how happy they were that the exams were finally done.
Damian then showed off his sweeping skills which annoyed the girls while some students praised him for getting a Stella star.
Becky started to insinuate that Anya does have feelings for Damian but Anya was too busy hearing the thoughts of George, who happens to be Glooman’s son.
By reading his mind and learning some information from Becky, Anya found out that it was George who wanted Damian to get expelled by hiring Daybreak to sabotage Damian’s exam.
While reading his mind, Anya saw that George attracted commotion using a cigarette butt and told the teacher that it was Damian who was smoking it.
Anya decided to side with Damian while the two boys started to fight. Damian confronted George and asked him what his issue was.
The latter explained that the reason his father’s company went bankrupt was because of Damian’s father’s company.
He added that if the company closed down, they will be homeless and he will be expelled.
Damian, of course, felt bad about this and started accepting George’s requests, including buying him juice and lending him his Stella star.
George flaunted it in front of their classmates but was cut off when one of Damian’s friends intervened.
He decided to grieve again and asked if they could let him have a short moment of happiness before he gets expelled.
Anya then confronted George. He asked for a final wish, which is a song. Everyone decided to sing except for Anya.
Before George left, Damian gave him expensive stationery and other students gave him expensive parting gifts too.
Back at home, Anya told Yor and Loid what happened in school. Loid then explained that the company did not go bankrupt but was purchased by the Desmonds instead.
The Desmond company bought the Glooman company to save them from a financial crisis.
The following day, Anya woke up late and seemingly left some of her belongings accidentally at home, so Yor decided to bring Anya’s stuff to her before P.E. class starts.
She used her impressive skills to arrive at school without anyone noticing her. She even thought of disguising herself as a teacher.
What she did not know was that Loid saw her throughout. He got worried that Yor might've discovered the truth about his spy work.
When she handed Anya her P.E. clothes, Anya told her that she didn’t have P.E. class that day.
When Yor was heading home, she bumped into Loid who explained that he made a house call to a patient.
Yor, on the other hand, told him what happened, making Loid feel relieved that she doesn't know his secret yet.
