Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles follows the story of Rio, a boy reincarnated from Japan with strange and powerful abilities. Memories of his past life as Haruto Amakawa live inside him, along with a mysterious spirit that has yet to be awakened.
In this week's episode, a year has passed since Rio and Latifa arrived at the village. The time for Rio to leave is coming closer, much to Latifa's dismay.

Spirit Chronicles Episode 6 Recap
At the Grand Spirit Festival, Rio is welcomed as a sworn friend of the village while Latifa is now officially a resident. The village then throws a grand party to celebrate the festival, along with Dryas' official blessing of the two.
During the festival, Sara and Orphia are drunkenly clinging on to Rio, who reacts awkwardly. They scold Rio for still speaking so formally to them after all this time. They tell him that they want to deepen their friendship with him.
Rio mentions to Ursula that he's planning to leave soon. A year has passed since his planned journey to the Yagumo region, and now he must continue with his trip. He eventually tells Latifa, who doesn't take the news too lightly, and runs away from the conversation.
Reiss and his subordinate are somewhere near the village. He proceeds with his plan of using the subordinate as bait, and a group of wyverns begins flying towards the village. The warriors rush to the forest to protect the village. Latifa is almost attacked by a black wyvern, but Rio intervenes just in time. He successfully defeats the creature on his own.
Latifa apologizes to Rio for running off. She confides in him that she's a reincarnation of someone from Japan—Rio tells her that he's the same.
Rio finally says his goodbyes to the residents of the village. They all provide him with parting gifts, such as food, a sword made of mithril, and armor made from the black wyvern's hide.

Spirit Chronicles Episode 7 Release Time
Episode 7 will air in Japan on Tuesday, August 17 at 10:30 PM Japan Standard Time (JST). This is not the same schedule as the previous weeks. Crunchyroll usually releases the episode on Mondays, at 11:30 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). For other locations, that would be at these times:
Central Time: 1:30 PM CT
Eastern Time: 2:30 PM ET
British Time: 7:30 PM BST
As of writing, the show's page on Crunchyroll is still scheduled for release at the times mentioned above. Stay tuned for updates regarding a possible time change.
