Spider-Man PS4: First Look at Classic Red and Blue Costume

When alternate costumes were confirmed for Insomniac's Spider-Man PS4, fans applauded the move. Though no one hates the new costume Insomniac made, the character has had better costumes in the past. However, no matter how many looks he shifts though, none of them will ever be better than his classic red and blue costume designed by the late-great Steve Ditko.

Fans had a feeling that this classic costume would be in the game but PlayStation has finally revealed what it looks like in-game. To be honest, it looks better than that new suit with the white spider emblem and I'll probably switch into it once unlocked. This is less a criticism of the new costume, which looks fine, and more of a testament to how iconic Spidey's classic design is.

Props to Insomniac Games as well since this brief Daily Bugle teaser shows just how good the suit looks. They clearly put a lot of work into making these costumes look great and fans will definitely appreciate the effort. We've already seen how great the Infinity War and Spider-Punk suits will look, so one can only imagine how the rest will look.

Insomniac's Spider-Man PS4 comes out on September 7 and is exclusive to Sony's current-gen console. Villains like Mr. Sinister, Vulture, Electro, and Scorpion have been confirmed for the game.
