Spider-Man PS4 Devs on Why Miles Morales' Suit Isn't Coming to the Game

The last DLC expansion for Spider-Man PS4 is set to come out later this week, and some fans are whining that the devs haven't given us Miles Morales' costume from Into the Spider-Verse yet. Insomniac, however, has come up with their reply:

The fans, however, were also quick to answer, seeing that there are also Spidey costumes in the game which weren't owned by Peter Parker. Insomniac fired back with:

Though it's a weak reply, I think the answer that would make more sense is that Insomniac has its own plans for Miles Morales in the future. The studio is already working on a sequel for this game, and granted the teaser at the end, we might get a playable Miles Morales down the line—that's why they didn't want to give Peter Miles' suit.

We have no idea when the sequel is set to come out yet, but we do know that the developers had a reason for not including the symbiote black suit in this first game. It's very likely that we'll finally get to see Venom in action in the sequel, and let's also not forget that teaser for Green Goblin.

For now, Spider-Man PS4 is gearing up for the release of their last expansion to the City that Never Sleeps DLC, Silver Lining. Silver Sable is said to be a major presence in the game, as well as Spider-Man villain Hammerhead.

Marvel's Spider-Man is a PS4 exclusive. The Silver Lining expansion arrives Dec. 21.
