Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios broke the internet anew with the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home's first official poster. The said promotional material comes one month before the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe threequel hits cinemas and it pretty much confirms that more characters from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man universe, besides Doc Ock are going to be making appearances in the film.

One villain that has every webhead excited is the returning Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin and while neither Sony nor Marvel has yet to make an official announcement regarding which actor is going to play the part, it's already safe to assume that Willem Dafoe will reprise his RaimiVerse role given the multiverse aspect of the project.

Speaking of, there's been a persistent rumor running on social media that Norman Osborn will sport a completely different Green Goblin suit upon his arrival to the MCU. However, Spider-Man: No Way Home's official poster seems to dismiss the said rumors, and thanks to an HD image of the character, we might have just confirmed that Dafoe could still be donning his already iconic suit complete with the terrifying Goblin mask in the film. This is not to say that Green Goblin won't actually be getting a little makeover in the MCU because you gotta keep in mind that Marvel likes to play a little game of trickery and diversion with fans. Heck, even Doc Ock doesn't look the same as the last time we saw him. Still, it's best that we see the film for ourselves because surprises are definitely in store.

Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas on December 17, 2021.
