Spider-Man: No Way Home Deleted Scene Hints the Return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield

As well all know now, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield made their triumphant return in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Since then, a lot of fans have been wondering if we'll ever get to see them again whether it's in their respective solo films or in another team-up film featuring three Spider-Man actors. Now that the film and its special features are now available digitally, we're also getting a lot of deleted scenes and one of them revealed very pivotal information about the potential future of Maguire and Garfield.

Per The Direct, in the final cut that we saw, during the moment when Tom Holland was saying goodbye to Maguire and Garfield after a lengthy battle with the villains, he gave a hug to the two Spider-Men before saying, "I guess I'll see you."

However, in one of the deleted scenes, they showed an alternative version of the scene where Holland instead said, "I'll see you later" to which Garfield responded, "You know where to find us."

It's a very interesting deleted scene since it shows that they filmed a take where they implied that we might see Maguire and Garfield again in a future film. Obviously, they didn't choose that take and went on a more ambiguous route regarding the possibility of the two actors returning in a future film.

So what does it say about the future of Maguire and Garfield in playing Spider-Man again? It does indicate that the team at Sony and Marvel are likely considering the idea of the two returning again in the future and they might be open for the three actors to team up again. Right now, there is no confirmation yet that we might see it happening soon but it looks like that might potentially be in the cards.

A lot of fans would definitely love the idea of Holland, Maguire, and Garfield teaming up again in another film. While it might not happen anytime soon, there is still a possibility given the ambitious ideas that Marvel is currently doing with its future projects. The huge success of No Way Home also showed that there is a lot of interest to see the three together again and it could be another billion-dollar grossing idea. Let's just wait and see if Sony and Marvel will actually get to do it soon.
