Spider-Man fans are in for a treat starting this April. That’s because Sony Pictures revealed that the live-action Spider-Man movies will be back in theaters from April to June.
The return of the Spidey flicks to the big screen comes as a surprise to many as there’s no real Spider-Man-related celebration or event in the coming months.
Still, this Spider-Mondays event should be great news for the biggest Spider-Man fans, especially as even the classic Sam Raimi trilogy is part of the lineup.
Sony Is Bringing Back All 8 Live-Action Spider-Man Films in Spider-Mondays Event
The return of the films to theaters was announced via the official Spider-Man Films X (formerly Twitter) account. This reveal was made with a special trailer that features clips from all eight movies.
Even though it’s not made for a Spider-Man or Marvel milestone, the trailer revealed that this special re-release will be done to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Columbia Pictures.
As the trailer confirms, all Spider-Man live-action movies will be part of the lineup, and they will be screened in select cinemas across the US every Monday beginning April 15.
Many were pleasantly surprised by the announcement, though some are hoping that the re-release will also be made internationally.
Some fans are wondering why the Spider-Verse movies aren’t part of the lineup. After all, the two Spider-Verse films are also distributed by Sony Pictures.

Spider-Man Back in Theaters: All Release Dates
Sony Pictures confirmed the dates for each Spider-Man movie, along with the fact that they’ll be screened in release order.
Here is the complete lineup of films and their respective theatrical re-release dates:
- Spider-Man - April 15
- Spider-Man 2 - April 22
- Spider-Man 3 - April 29
- The Amazing Spider-Man - May 6
- The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - May 13
- Spider-Man: Homecoming -May 20
- Spider-Man: Far From Home - May 27
- Spider-Man: No Way Home - June 3
Take note that each film will only get one screening per day. On the flip side, many theaters across the US will screen the films.

Where to Watch the Spider-Man Movies Re-Release in Cinemas
Tickets for the screenings are available now online through the event’s official website. There, all US theaters are also listed.
Based on the website, a wide array of AMC, Regal, and Alamo Drafthouse theaters in the US will screen the movies. The screening times are either 6:30 PM or 7:00 PM local time.
