Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Sequel Gets 2022 Release Date

It looks like 2022 is going to be a big year for Miles Morales fans. It has just been confirmed that the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will premiere in Spring 2022.

The announcement was made on the official Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Twitter account through a brief yet exciting teaser. Check it out below.

The teaser only shows Miles' logo along with the year 2022. However, the caption confirms that fans can expect to see the young webslinger swinging back into action on April 8, 2022.

Into the Spider-Verse featured not one, not two, but multiple Spider-people that included Spider-Gwen, Spider-Ham, Spider-Man Noir, and Peni Parker. It also introduced Miles as the current Spider-Man after the death of Peter Parker in his universe.

The sequel to Into the Spider-Verse isn't the only thing that fans can look forward to in the future. It was previously reported that Sony is already planning an all-female Spider-Man (sorry, Spider-WOMAN) film that will bring back Spider-Gwen. In addition to that, Madame Web could be getting her own movie. Either way, we'll see seeing a lot of Spider-Man flicks in the near future.

The first film featured the voices of Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Lily Tomlin, Luna Lauren Velez, John Mulaney, Kimiko Glenn, Nicolas Cage, and Liev Schreiber. There is a huge possibility that Moore, Johnson, Steinfeld, Mulaney, Glenn, and Cage will return for the sequel.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 has not yet been given an official title. However, it is already scheduled for release on April 8, 2022.
