Spider-Man: Homecoming Sequel Looking To Cast A Femme Fatale

One of the best things I liked about Spider-Man: Homecoming was the fact that it included over four classic Spidey villains without making the film feel as oversaturated as Spider-Man 3 or Amazing Spider-Man 2. A lot of people are curious on what's in store for the sequel, and rumor has it that we could be getting a female villain make an appearance.

According to The Hashtag Show, casting director for the Homecoming sequel, Sarah Finn, is currently on the hunt for a European 20-something actress who could play a femme-fatale in the movie. For now, everyone's favorite pick would be Spidey villain/love interest Black Cat (FeliciaHardy), but with the Silver & Black movie in the works, it could very much end up being Silver Sable (alias Silver Sablinova).

Now that I think about it, Sable is the more likely choice to be in this film. With the European setting of the sequel, I also guessed that we'd be introduced to a foreign villain in the form of Sergei Kravinoff a.k.a. Kraven the Hunter; I'm thinking either Kravinoff works for Sablinova or vice-versa.

Again, this is all just speculation, but the European origin for the villains seems like a good fit for the setting.

As of now, we still know very little about the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel. It will be set directly after the events of Avengers 4, so I'm guessing they'll want to keep a lot of aspects of the film quiet unless they want to spoil Peter Parker's fate for the fourth Avengers film.

The Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel comes out July 5, 2019.
