Spider-Man: Far From Home TV Spot Gives 'Spider-Sense' A Hilarious New Name

The term 'Spider-Sense' has been something that everyone uses when referring to Peter Parker's amazing reflexes and sensitivity to danger. However, the new TV spot for Spider-Man: Far From Home has just given it a hilarious new nickname that Peter wants you to stop using.

The promo opens with Aunt May asking Peter if he's hungry and immediately tossing him a banana. However, the surprised Peter doesn't catch it and it hits him in the face. Aunt May is confused about this. "You can dodge bullets but not bananas?" she asks.

We're treated to an awesome action scene where Spider-Man takes on some bad guys before Aunt May continues pushing the issue. "I thought that you could sense that with your 'Peter Tingle'," she says.

Wait, what? 'Peter Tingle'? No, Peter isn't having any of it. "Please stop saying 'Tingle', May," he pleads.

Come to think of it, 'Peter Tingle' has a nice ring to it. Perhaps more people should start referring to it as that.

We already know that Aunt May is aware of Peter's powers, thanks to the hilarious final moment of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Luckily, it looks like she's OK with the whole thing although she clearly wants Peter to stay safe. Let's hope he can continue to steer clear of danger in Far From Home.

The synopsis for Far From Home reads as follows:

"Shortly after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker, who is mourning the death of his mentor Tony Stark, goes on a school trip to Europe with his classmates. While abroad, he is recruited by Nick Fury to team up with Quentin Beck, also known as Mysterio, a master of trickery and illusion, to battle the Elementals."

Spider-Man: Far From Home will premiere on July 2.
