Spider-Man: Far from Home Set Photo Gives us A Look at Noir-Inspired Stealth Suit

Spider-Man: Homecoming did give us a classic Spidey suit, but by the end, we had Peter facing off with the Vulture wearing his homemade gear. It looks like the sequel Far from Home will also have an alternate suit, and it looks to be inspired by Spider-Man Noir.

We don't know if this is even Spider-Man or just some henchman, but seeing that he's hanging off the side of a Ferris wheel, I think it's safe to say that it's supposed to be Peter Parker in this outfit. Though I do love the outfit that was introduced in Civil War, I'm interested in moments where Peter has to wear something else other than the standard suit.

If you even do your homework, you can say that the homemade suit from Homecoming was inspired by the Scarlet Spider outfit from the comics. Praise the Sam Raimi films all you want, but I think it's fun when Spider-Man gets to have a costume change every once in a while.

With a release date set for July of next year, it may be a while before we get some solid marketing on Spider-Man: Far from Home. For one, it's the first movie to come out after Avengers 4, and any reveals in the plot could spoil what happens by the end of Avengers. At best, we could be looking at a major reveal after A4 comes out.

Catch Spider-Man: Far from Home in theaters July 5, 2019.
