Spider-Man: Far From Home Promo Art Of Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio Leaked Online

We've been hoping to get an official look at Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio for some time. Luckily, a promo art from Spider-Man: Far From Home has been leaked online and it somehow confirms that the villain will be getting one major change.

The illustration was spotted in the latest issue of Empire Magazine and was immediately shared on Imgur. In addition to the image, there's a brief write-up about Mysterio and the role he might play in Far From Home.

It's certainly different from what we expected. In the comic books, Mysterio wears a round helmet that resembles a fishbowl. However, it looks like Gyllenhaal will be leaving the helmet behind. Nevertheless, it's still possible that the fishbowl will show up sometime in Far From Home.

People have also been hoping that the trailer for the new Spider-Man sequel would be released this December. Although it was originally expected to drop at CCXP earlier this month, the teaser has yet to debut. There are speculations that Sony has no plans of stealing the thunder from Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, which is currently doing well in the box office. Let's hope that the first Far From Home trailer will finally be unveiled in January.

We're glad to finally see Gyllenhaal's Mysterio. However, a different photo of the Southpaw star recently went viral. The picture was shared by Ryan Reynolds, who alleges that Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman invited him to an ugly Christmas sweater party. However, the Once Upon a Deadpool actor was the only one who followed the dress code.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled for release on July 5, 2019.
