Spider-Man: Far from Home is the Start of MCU Phase 4

The Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer has just recently come out and a lot of people are discussing what exactly is its place in the MCU timeline. As it turns out, it's going to be the beginning of a whole new era for Marvel Studios.

According to MCU Cosmic's Jeremy Conrad, Far from Home will mark the beginning of MCU Phase 4. Some guess that it will be the end of Phase 3, seeing that Ant-Man was the end of Phase 2 instead of Age of Ultron; good to know that Endgame will also mark the end of the third Phase for Marvel—I mean, "End" is literally in the title.

For now, Sony has to be extra careful when it comes to the marketing of their next Spidey film. One wrong move and they could end up spoiling Endgame. Let's not forget the second trailer for Homecoming basically spoiled the entire run of the movie. Hopefully, Marvel is keeping a very close eye on Sony this time. Heck, even the passport of Peter Parker had the years erased from it.

For now, Far from Home is the only announced movie for Phase 4. We don't know when Marvel is going to announce the rest, but hopefully, we get the titles sometime this year. We know that a Doctor Strange sequel is in the works as well as a Black Widow movie. It may also take some time to get off the ground again, but Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 already has a script, Marvel is just looking for someone to helm.

As of now, catch the start of MCU Phase 4 when Spider-Man: Far from Home hits theaters July 5.
