For years, Tom Holland has had a reputation of oversharing information about his MCU films and it even earned him the moniker "Spoiler-Man" from fans. Of course, with Spider-Man: No Way Home around the corner, webheads are totally expecting the British actor to activate his "spoiler senses" once again and spill details about the forthcoming film. However, for some strange reason, it looks like our friendly neighborhood is toning it down a bit when it comes to saying what he can about the "most ambitious" superhero film ever.

For starters, Tom has constantly denied rumors about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's involvement in No Way Home, something that most fans don't buy. Now, the actor is finally revealing his reason for not spoiling the film and it's pretty straightforward. In an interview with Empire Magazine, Holland said that he's pretty much clueless about the ongoing speculation surrounding his third Spider-Man film.

Tom said: "I’m always in the dark. If they are, no-one’s told me."

At this point, I don't buy anything that Holland says but I totally get where he is coming from. I mean, why would you want to spoil a superhero film of that magnitude? If anything, the surprises that await fans should be kept under wraps as much as possible. Mad props to Tom for actually doing the right thing and not spilling all the stuff he knows about the project. After all, it's still good to be surprised from time to time.

Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas on December 17, 2021.
